What happens next

From idea to working software

A clear, step-by-step path from your first message to a system your team uses every day. You'll always know what's happening and what comes next.

  1. 1
    Day 1

    Share your idea

Tell us what's slowing your team down, by form, email or a free 30-minute call. No spec or technical knowledge needed.

  2. 2
    Week 1–2

    Discovery & audit

We meet the people who'll use the system, review your current tools and data, and find where time and money are being lost.

  3. 3
    Week 2–3

    Process map

We map how work should flow: steps, rules, hand-offs, data and integrations. You get a written plan, phased roadmap and estimate.

  4. 4
    Before code

    Clickable prototype

You click through the key screens and give feedback. Changes here are fast and cheap, so the build starts right.

  5. 5
    Sprint by sprint

    Build in milestones

We build in short cycles on a private staging site you can test. You see working progress every sprint, never just at the end.

  6. 6
    Go live

    Integrate, launch & support

We connect your existing tools, migrate data, add AI where it helps, train your team and keep improving after launch.

Getting started

  • It's a 30-minute working conversation, not a sales pitch. We ask about your goals, the tools you use today and where your team loses time. You'll leave with honest advice on whether custom software, automation or an off-the-shelf tool is the right next step.

  • No. Most clients start with a problem, not a spec, for example 'we track everything in five spreadsheets'. Turning that into clear requirements is exactly what our discovery and process-mapping steps are for.

  • Custom makes sense when off-the-shelf tools force workarounds, don't connect to each other, or cost more in licences and wasted time than they save. If an existing product will genuinely do the job, we'll tell you.

  • Mostly mid-market service businesses, operational teams, supply chain companies, non-profits and associations across Canada, from teams of a handful of people to several hundred.

Idea to process map

  • A process map is a clear picture of how work moves through your organization: every step, decision, hand-off, rule and piece of data. Starting there means we automate the right things, avoid building features nobody needs, and give you an accurate estimate.

  • A decision-maker plus the people who actually do the work day to day. Their input is what makes the finished software fit. We keep sessions short and focused so it doesn't take over anyone's week.

  • A process map, prioritized requirements, a recommended architecture and integrations list, a phased roadmap and a milestone-based estimate. It's useful to you even if you decide not to build with us.

  • Yes. We create a clickable prototype of the key screens so your team can try the flow and give feedback before any production code is written.

Building your project

  • Projects are scoped as fixed-scope or milestone-based contracts, so you always know what each phase costs and what you'll get. We recommend a focused first release that delivers value quickly, then extend it in further milestones.

  • You get a private staging site, demos at the end of every sprint and a direct line to the people building your software. No black boxes and no surprises at the end.

  • Yes. Priorities change. We review the plan every sprint, and if something new comes up we agree together whether to swap it in, add it to a later milestone or adjust the scope.

  • Yes. We build web applications and cross-platform iOS and Android apps, usually sharing one secure back end so your data stays in sync everywhere.

Integrations & AI

  • Almost always. We integrate with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, accounting software, CRMs, payment processors, telephony and most systems that offer an API or export. You keep what works and connect it.

  • We plan the migration during discovery, clean and map your existing data, test the import on staging, and only switch over once your team has confirmed everything is correct.

  • Yes. We can add AI agents, document processing, smart search or response drafting to existing systems through integrations, with clear guardrails and a human in the loop for anything sensitive.

  • We design AI features with review steps, confidence checks and escalation rules, and log every action. Anything uncertain or high-impact goes to a person, and your data is never used to train public AI models.

Launch, security & support

  • In Canada. Applications, databases and backups are hosted in Canadian data centres, with encryption, role-based access, multi-factor sign-in and audit logs as standard.

  • Launch includes hands-on training, simple documentation and check-ins after go-live. We launch with your team, not to them, because software only pays off when people actually use it.

  • Ongoing retainers cover hosting, monitoring, security updates, fixes and new features as your organization grows, so the system keeps improving rather than going stale.

  • Yes. You own your application and all of its data. We can host and maintain it for you, or hand it over to your own team.
